  • “Which Shall Be Unto All People”

These words are found in the latter part of Luke 2:10. Many times the thought of this scripture and many others is overlooked. There are many religions in this world, but only one Saviour; the Lord Jesus Christ. There is a great difference between Christianity and religions of the world.

Mohammed was an Arab. His book is Arabic for the purpose of impressing the Arabic civilization and the countries that follow him.

Confucius was Chinese. His purpose was to impress the whole civilization of China. His teaching, its morals and ethics were directed to the Chinese only.

Socrates was Greek. His philosophy and teaching was directed to the Greeks.

Buddha was Indian ascetic {self denial} and his teaching was directed to the Indian civilization.

Jesus is neither Occidental {Western or European} or Oriental. He is a Jew in lineage, but not in anything else. He was crucified because all He did was contrary to Judaism. This is how He can come to any nation and be received of them and fit into their lives and change their hearts as if He had always belonged to them.

The cleansing power of salvation by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is not only the privilege of all but fits the need of all; no matter the race or language.

“The promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” Acts 2:39

Jesus came to seek and save that which was lost, that would include all people, no matter their nationality. The grace of God has appeared unto all men. Titus 2:11
